In alignment with the Agenda’s objectives, DNS has prioritized the development of high-impact leadership and the recruitment of highly qualified educators to ensure excellence across the learning community. A school-wide emphasis has been placed on literacy, with reading embedded across all subject areas. Furthermore, all students and faculty are equipped with smart technologies that support digital teaching strategies, enhance project-based learning, and foster advanced research skills.
Our goal is for 100% of Emirati students to graduate from high school fully prepared for higher education, eliminating the need for remedial foundation programs at the university level. To support this vision, students participate in international benchmarking assessments such as NWEA MAP, CAT4, TIMSS, PISA, and PIRLS, through which we have witnessed consistent academic growth and improvement.
DNS has implemented a robust data-informed system that engages all stakeholders in analyzing student performance. Insights gained from these assessments are used to continuously refine our curriculum, instructional practices, and student support strategies.
